World Poetry Day is celebrated on 21 March, and was declared by UNESCO in 1999, "with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression….”

Here is my addition to the day.

I’m Tired

I’m sick and tired of
being sick and tired.

Somedays I have no choice, but I
try to have a voice.

I start early and
end late.

But time for me
I never take.

Take the time to
just be.

Take the time to
be just me.

A flare is coming.
Sleep is forming.

CFS is reigning,
I am not complaining.

I’m tired, I’m asleep.

CFS Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or
ME/CFS Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
People with ME/CFS have overwhelming fatigue that is not improved by rest. ME/CFS may get worse after any activity, whether it's physical or mental.
