#GivingTuesday 2020
While 2020 has been greatly different from any year you’ve been alive for, Giving Tuesday is still necessary and good for all those involved.
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
We all have gifts to give, and with social media, online giving, delivery, mail, and phones, there are limitless ways to use your generosity to support others. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give.
Are you in?
Tune in to the Giving Tuesday page on December 1 at 9am & 7pm ET for GivingTuesday’s Day-Of Livestream, hosted by NBC’s Mario Armstrong. You’ll have a front-row seat for inspiring stories of generosity from around the world and shoutouts from special guests and everyday heroes who will share why giving back is key for building the kind of world we want to live in.
