A Little Piece of me

I had high hopes for this month, but this month has been a slew of things that I didn’t expect and was praying against.

It is with the deepest sadness that I say my sister Reba (Powe) Hawkins lost her battle with colon cancer on January 9th. She was diagnosed with stage IV in December 2018 and fought hard for a year. We thought we had it licked for a min, but then cancer spread to her liver. She was the kindest person. That is something we all share from our father.

She will be missed not just by her family, but the whole community of Schulenburg and Weimar, TX.
